What is mather mansion?

The Mather Mansion is a historic house located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. It was built in 1910 by Samuel Mather, an industrialist and shipping magnate, and his wife Flora Stone Mather. The mansion was designed by the prominent Cleveland architect Charles F. Schweinfurth in the Beaux-Arts style. It features 72 rooms, including 21 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms, and covers an area of 44,000 square feet. The Mather Mansion was designated a Cleveland Landmark in 1976 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Today, the mansion is owned by Cleveland State University and serves as an administrative building for the university.
